Brite is looking for an experienced barista and an all-rounder that has excellent customer service standards and is a people's person to join our small cafe team as we gear up to open our new Brite Cafe.
Brite Café is a dynamic social enterprise, and part of Brite Services, committed to creating empowering employment and training opportunities for people with disability. Nestled in the heart of the Broadmeadows Industrial Park, we aim to establish our new retail café as a place that is not just for exceptional coffee and delicious food, but a symbol of inclusivity and opportunity. This cafe is an addition to our current Brite Cafe (Cafe 1) located at our main site on Belfast Street, Broadmeadows which provides a service to all Brite employees, staff and visitors.

To be successful in this role, you will need to show:
- a passion for coffee, food and customer service
- you are motivated to serve a great cup of coffee
- high-standard barista skills on a commercial machine
- fast turnaround of orders
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- management of stock levels
- experience following health and safety policies and procedures, legislation and standards
- 2 or more years' experience in similar role
- be ready to jump in and help us open an exciting and thriving new cafe, that also empowers people with disability and builds social inclusion
