Barista - Work In An Education Setting!

The Opportunity: 

• Fixed Term Contract for Term 2 & Term 3 (15 April - 13 September 2024)
• Part Time (25 hrs/week), Term Time only 
• Monday to Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm

We have an exciting part time role for a trained Barista or Café All Rounder to assist at the Chatters Café within the campus of Mancel College. 

What are the Responsibilities?

• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages
• Assisting in serving food
• Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Maintaining high levels of hygiene and clean service and seating areas
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
• Providing outstanding service to customers
• Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies.
• Receiving and processing customer payments

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

• Proficient Barista with minimum 1 year experience
• Sufficient knowledge about espresso coffee and basic latte art skill
• Safe food knowledge and/or accreditation
• Ability to self-direct as well as work effectively with others.
• Blue Card or Exemption Card
