The Opportunity:
- Fixed Term Contract for Term 2 & Term 3 (15 April - 13 September 2024)
- Part Time (25 hrs/week), Term Time only
- Monday to Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
We have an exciting part time role for a trained Barista or Café All Rounder to assist at the Chatters Café within the campus of Mancel College.
What are the Responsibilities?
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages
- Assisting in serving food
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene and clean service and seating areas
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
- Providing outstanding service to customers
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies.
- Receiving and processing customer payments
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
- Proficient Barista with minimum 1 year experience
- Sufficient knowledge about espresso coffee and basic latte art skill
- Safe food knowledge and/or accreditation
- Ability to self-direct as well as work effectively with others.
- Blue Card or Exemption Card
