- Advanced Control Strategies: Develop and execute cutting-edge control strategies and software solutions, optimizing system operation and ensuring grid stability.
- Collaboration: Foster robust collaboration across internal departments and external stakeholders, including utility companies and regulatory bodies, to realize successful project outcomes.
- Testing and Optimization: Supervise thorough system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, guaranteeing adherence to precise specifications and efficient functionality.
- Continuous Advancement: Stay attuned to industry trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, enhancing our client's BESS offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 + years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying Battery Energy Storage Systems.
- Proficiency in Energy Storage technologies, grid integration, power electronics, and control systems.
- Strong analytical prowess, adept in utilizing simulation tools and software for precise system modeling.
- Project management acumen, encompassing budgeting, scheduling, and effective team management.
- Familiarity with pertinent industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in energy management systems (EMS) and battery management systems (BMS).
- Insight into utility-scale Energy Storage projects and grid services.
- Programming proficiency in languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems for streamlined monitoring and control.
- Relevance to Energy Storage-related certifications, such as NABCEP or IEEE.
