Our client is a leading Professional Services Business Advisory & Accounting organisation located on the Sunshine Coast and Cairns. With a bright and beautiful well established office in Maroochydore, they are seeking to appoint a talented and hands-on BDM for this region, someone who loves to engage with new customers and can work in partnership with the MD and the Marketing Manager, as you take accountability for the identification and acquisition of new customers for the organisation. You will be set up for success by support and training provided by the MD and Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for targeting clients and businesses in region, and have a customer centric, consultative approach for this highly successful organisation in growth!

This proactive segmented sales activity will better support you in identifying and securing new business opportunities for you to service.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving sales growth across the Sunshine Coast region
- Delivering sales growth through your own proactive pipeline development and management and converting opportunities presented by referrals and inbound enquiries
- Demonstrated experience in farming accounts and small businesses to identify and maximise on all opportunities as a service partner, actively collaborating with your team to achieve success
- B2B sales success typically pitching to business owners, procurement and key stakeholders of SMEs across different industry verticals utilising a consultative and engaging approach for any form of service solution
- Stakeholder engagement and management with the ability to build rapport immediately with customers across different industries
- Taking responsibility & accountability for your own call cycle, portfolio management and pipeline, to maximise on your success
- The development and management of a segmented and regional sales plan to maximise on productivity and outcomes, and of course your earning potential
- Operating with a high level of customer centricity and commercial acumen
- Sales activity reporting, and meeting your KPI's
- Tender writing (in collaboration with a very talented Marketing Manager and relevant internal key stakeholders)
- You becoming a subject matter expert on their premium services and then becoming the ‘go to’ preferred, for referral responses to provide solutions
- $80K base + super + $15k car allowance + uncapped commission!

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B consultative sales roles
- Excellent communication skills and customer engagement skills
- Excellent pipeline management & lead conversion skills
- Experience in developing professional networks & selling service-based solutions to a range of businesses and industries
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport immediately
- A passion for 'rain making' - you will be a driven business developer & love meeting new clients
- Motivated to develop your sales plan in collaboration with the MD and then take full accountability for its execution – this talented and engaging MD wants to recognise and reward you – Not Micromanage you!
- Experienced in using CRMs ideally HubSpot to track, manage pipeline and provide sales reporting
- A high degree of motivation and a collaborative, consultative style
- A high attention to detail and flexible, positive attitude
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Proven success in delivering to revenue targets
- Confident in preparing your own sales reports
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously, organised, outcomes driven
