What will you do?
To meet demand from existing growth, and to build capacity for exciting growth plans, Localsearch is expanding its Analytics and Business Intelligence team. This team services internal business units and is responsible for complex client-facing reporting associated with a large percentage of Localsearch’s revenue. Therefore, we are looking for a proficient and experienced BI Developer with strong ETL and API skills to join our high-caliber Analytics and Business Intelligence Team.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you should understand advanced and modern approaches to cloud data warehousing, ETL/ELT technology, API integration, and Agile development practices. You should be capable of delivering high-quality outcomes for both clients and staff. You should be collaborative in the data space and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You would:
- Work in a small but growing team.
- Bring technical expertise to Cloud migration and strategic business projects.
- Support “Business as Usual” requests.
- Deliver data pipelines that are resilient, scalable, and ready for growth.
Who are you & what will you bring?
Our preference is that you are based in South East Queensland, but for the right applicant, we will consider a remote work model – only if based in Australia.
Required to have at least 3+ years’ experience with:
- Modern ETL/ELT/orchestration tools
- REST API ingestion and related authentication including OAuth2
- Python scripting
- SQL, DML, DDL, JSON
- CI/CD using Gitlab or similar.
Desired experience with:
- Matillion ETL, AWS Glue
- Data Ingestion from RDMS, semi-structured and non-structured sources
- SSIS (for migration purposes)
- Familiarity with Google APIs (Analytics, Adwords, Business Profile, Search Console, Tag Manager)
- Strong understanding of AWS data related technologies
- Metadata driven approach
- Data warehousing using Snowflake or similar
- Javascript or other stored procedure languages
- Kimball methodology
- PowerBI
