The Asset Finance Shop is located in Bondi Junction and is an industry leader in commercial asset finance. Our brokerage firm specialises in financing new and used commercial trucks, trailers, business vehicles, and heavy machinery for the construction, farming, forestry, quarry and mining, heavy haulage, and transportation industries.
We are looking for someone to join our amazing culture in Bondi Junction in a modern office with harbour views.
Duties:
- Manage the sales team and your own sales targets and growth opportunities.
- Review plans and customer tenders ensuring timely and accurate sales submissions.
- Drive the disciplines with your sales team to ensure they are maximizing opportunities to exceed targets.
- Manage your own set of key customers / accounts
- Forecasting sales and ensuring the team meets sales
- Set and manage opportunities for the full range of products and services
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales staff
- Drive new opportunities to develop sales and key opportunities.
- A strong focus will be on managing direct reports in identifying, developing, and supporting relationships and business growth opportunities.
- Manage and deliver outcomes based on the company’s growth strategy.
- Pro-actively identify new business opportunities to provide increased sales growth.
- Develop a strong working relationship with current and target customer’s staff and
- Building strong working relationships with the sales team, customers, colleagues and industry partners.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the Sales team toward hitting specified sales goals & KPI’s
- Conduct quarterly performance reviews with all team members
- Lead by example, using the established sales processes, and close a high percentage of the leads you and your team generate
- Continually analyze the sales process in an effort to refine and improve its success, and work with upper management to establish sales reporting framework
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a Brokerage Firm (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable, but not essential
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a high performance sales team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands on experience with CRM software
- Highly personable, with the ability to quickly build relationships
- Strong computer literacy and working knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Customer oriented with strong negotiation skills
- Strong track record of accomplishments and promotions in the Sales field
- Experience in managing customer tenders an advantage
- Strong technical/product knowledge and problem solving skills and priority setting.
