Hays are currently working with a well-known utility entity in WA and seeking a BI Developer who can bring a fresh perspective to the team and help to continue to innovate in the field of data and analytics.
Your new role
As a BI Developer within the Data & Analytics team, you will be at the forefront of turning complex data into clean and actionable insights. Your role will involve engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports, and leveraging your strong analytical skills to influence key business decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong stakeholder management skills will be crucial in translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Considerable experience with UX best practices and interactive tools like Spotfire will be key in creating engaging user experiences.
- Substantial experience with databases and data warehouses, along with your ability to develop transformation processes and data models, will be essential.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, along with SSIS expertise, will enable you to manage and manipulate data effectively.
- Considerable experience with R and JavaScript will be valuable in adding advanced functionalities to their data solutions.
- Scenario modelling skills will help in predicting and planning for various business outcomes.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and modern development tools will ensure efficient and collaborative project progression.
