Advantage Pharmacy Bairnsdale is currently seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join their customer focused and passionate team.
Pharmacy Background:
Bairnsdale is approximately 3.5 hours from Melbourne and is the largest city in the East Gippsland region. Situated on the Mitchell River which then flows into the extensive Gippsland Lakes system at Lake King. Bairnsdale's large and busy commercial centre is built around the Princes Highway and is a growing and thriving community. There are many great sites to see in the local area and you won't be spoilt for choice when it comes to the many wonderful attractions located close to the area for you to explore and enjoy in your free time.
This community Pharmacy is part of the Prime Pharmacy Group of stores who have 20 stores Nationally. This established Pharmacy has a strong customer base by focusing on building customer relationships whilst providing a holistic health solution and being a strong support to the local community.
The Role:
You will be responsible to assist in leading, managing and mentoring this great team whilst providing a high level of care to the valued customers and local health professionals.
Your previous success in motivating and leading a team to produce results whilst providing outstanding customer service, will be recognized and rewarded with career progression and development.
Duties:
- Forward dispensing scripts whilst providing a high level of customer service
- Assist with the day to day running of the dispensary
- Promote and offer other health related services
- Be involved in Pharmacy services Ie Vaccinations
- Participate and promote extended scope of practice
- Provide a complete health solution to patients
- Work to team, company and individual goals
- Build relationships with other health professionals in the local area
Experience Required:
We seek an enthusiastic Pharmacist to step into this role with drive, passion and a vision to grow the Pharmacies’ services, script numbers and overall business. Your love for community pharmacy will enable you to help continue to build this business, whilst building strong working relationships with the customers, the community and the team.
The right candidate:
- Be customer focused and passionate about customer care and health solutions
- Currently trained in Vaccinations or willing to be trained
- Be reliable and committed to the role
- Work towards meeting KPIs and store targets
- Work well in a team environment and independently
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
- Be an excellent communicator
- Very organized and have excellent time management skills.

- Be committed to on-going personal and professional development.
- Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration
- Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
