AddressOur client a world class organisation known for its innovation and excellence, is currently seeking an experienced BI Reporting Analyst to work on a leading Digital Acceleration project. Based in Hawkesbury, they are recognised globally as leaders and they are committed to an ongoing investment in the very latest technology to deliver innovative and value-adding solutions.
The Opportunity:
You will be joining a well-established Business Intelligence team, responsible for designing and implementing a new enterprise-wide data platform to be built on Snowflake on Azure. The current platform includes Oracle 11G and Wherescape RED ETL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining and optimising reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI to support data- driven decision making within the organisation.
- Data visualisation, to lead new approaches to data visualisation and establish the purpose and parameters of data visualisation using the appropriate use of data visualisation tools and techniques.
- Business Intelligence - Build and manage BI activities, ensuring processes are robust efficient and fir for purpose, focusing on key automation, key controls and data quality.
- Take responsibility for the provision of portfolio, programme and project support. Evaluate project, programme performance, and recommend changes where necessary as well as contribute to reviews and audits to ensure conformance to standards.
- Will need to be familiar with PowerBI, Dax & M Query Editor, Alteryx as well as azure services:- integrating power BI with other Azure services such as Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Analysis services.
You have proven experience in a BI Reporting Analyst role, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related filed as well as Microsoft Certification: Data Analyst Associate .
You will be a Visualisation expert or report Analyst with Power BI or other visualisation tools in the market. You will have proven experience in developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying and manipulation.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse community.
