WHO WE ARE

Cox Purtell, in partnership with a leading financial technology company, is seeking an BI Reporting Analyst to join the AU and ROW Analytics team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in ensuring the timely availability and upkeep of reports and self-service tools. Your focus will involve managing schedules, identifying, and resolving issues in reports and data assets owned by AU and ROW analytics. Additionally, you'll play a key role in developing new reports, modifying existing ones, and taking on fresh data assets as required.

WHAT YOU DO

The BI Reporting Analyst plays a key role in developing new reports, modifying existing ones, and taking on fresh data assets as required. In addition to other responsibilities, the BI Reporting Analyst will be tasked with:

  • Oversee the AU and ROW Weekly KPI Reporting tasks every Monday morning to ensure timely report refreshment by Monday afternoon.
  • Investigate and address issues in AU and ROW reports and self-service tools, engaging relevant business units as needed.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of reporting issues and updates in a timely manner.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders for new reports and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Design, create, publish, and maintain new reports in accordance with team processes and guidelines.
  • Assume responsibility for reports from other members of the analytics team when required.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Previous experience in a reporting or data analysis role is a must.
  • Proficiency in generating and distributing reports using tools like Tableau and/or QlikSense is essential.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and table creation are necessary.
  • You should have robust analytical abilities to handle complex data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with stakeholders and relay reporting issues and updates.
  • Familiarity with using R or Python for data manipulation is advantageous.
