Magnificent role for an up-and-coming Proposals/Bid expert to make their mark in the Design scene. This friendly Architectural practice have a good reputation for delivering good design on good projects and they are looking for you to come on board and help them grow to the next level.
The role will involve:
Bid Management:
- Lead the preparation of bids and proposals.
- Working closely with senior management in understanding client drivers and tailoring pitches specifically to this.
- Working with senior management on Go/No Go processes that ensure the practice is at capacity and has the potential for growth without over-committing and ensuring that the work pitched for remains in the company’s ethos for good work and good design
Business Development Coordination:
- Establish and maintain a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) and work with senior management in dev eloping a strategic approach to targeting these clients and including a calendar of business development activities, tracking client follow-ups, networking events, industry conferences that will help reel these clients in.
- Assist Senior Management in the preparation of insight and marketing collateral into Business Development Meetings.
Marketing
- Maintain the website with current staff and project information.
- Develop and deliver on a communication strategy for social media that is consistent with the studio brand.
To be successful in this role you will need pragmatic flair. You’ll be stylish enough in your approach to marketing and business development activities that it will attract attention, whilst at the same time having a robust approach to your work that ensures thought, attention to detail and follow-up.
Ideally you will have 3-5 years’ experience working in a bid management/proposals/marketing coordination type role within a consulting environment (preferably within a design, engineering, or construction company). You’ll have confident communication skills that will help you liaise with external and internal stakeholders, and you’ll be able to meet deadlines.
The client is based in a trendy contemporary city fringe studio as you would expect with an up-and-coming practice, (although WFH is an option), and has a collaborative friendly team environment supported by a great management team. Offering a salary of around $100-110K+super this is a fantastic role for someone really looking to make their mark on a company’s growth trajectory.
