Clinical Nurse Specialist - Intensive Care

About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide leadership and expert clinical support to our passionate team of clinicians. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager responsibilities will include
- Supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Demonstrating advanced clinical expertise and knowledge whilst providing clinical guidance, leadership, and education to members of the clinical team
- Effective resource utilisation & time management
- Demonstrating excellent customer service focus & positive role modelling behaviours
- Providing a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork across the multi-disciplinary framework
- Maintaining current knowledge & skills
Essential Criteria
- High level clinical skills with a minimum of three (3) years recent ICU experience
- Strong team leading, communication and problem-solving skills
- Post Graduate qualifications in Critical Care
- Current AHPRA Nurse Registration
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience in a leadership role
Remuneration
$50.29 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Specialist)[FTE $99 373.04]
