The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, developing tender and bid proposals, and maintaining relationships with various organisations and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Research potential opportunities from various sources including government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
- Develop compelling Bid & Tender proposals, applications, and reports in accordance with funder requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of Tender submissions, approvals, and rejections.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders and donors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and funding opportunities relevant to our organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Market, Communications, or equivalent work experience working in a fundraising or development role.
- Proven experience in tender or bid writing, with a successful track record of securing funding from various sources and dealing with volume submissions.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
