About the Role

Our future-focused Strategy & Growth team within Downer's Industrial and Energy business unit has an exciting new opportunity for a Bid and Proposals Coordinator. This role will be reporting directly to the Strategy & Growth Manager and will be based out of our Perth offices at 140SGT.

The role is well-suited to someone who relishes the feeling of making things happen, submitting a bid you feel proud of, and learning about a business and its function in your everyday activities.

About You

• Team player; highly organised, attentive to detail, and able to plan/ schedule program of activities to meet required deadlines
• Keen to work as part of a winning team, and able to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people
• Strong writing skills
• 5 years' experience working in a comparable role in, preferably in the infrastructure/construction and/or maintenance sectors.
• Sound understanding of bidding concepts, procedures and processes.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook & Teams and Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel essential.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred.
• Degree or other appropriate Tertiary qualification preferred.

Role duties will include but are not limited to:

• Non-price response development, and where others contribute ensure that the content is relevant, hits the mark and is proof read to ensure high quality content is submitted
• Participate in information management activities, ensuring tender and project information is appropriately stored in the corporate systems
• Coordinate and liaise with all stakeholders' during pre-tender and tender stages
• Support compliance with internal governance processes in accordance with the Downer standard
• Assist in developing client presentations.
