The Role:
As a Billing & Contracts Officer sitting within Business Services for Metering, you will be responsible for the effective coordination of activities associated with the accurate generation and timely execution of billing and contracts functions for Yurika. This position reports into the Contracts Administration Lead, so focuses mainly on contracts.
The role offers good variation across a large scope of work, with some key areas of responsibility including contract creation and processing, managing data integrity, completing MRF (meter request forms), sending pricing to retailers, and managing the general contracts enquiries inboxes.
About You:
This role will suit someone who enjoys delivering multiple priorities to meet changing deadlines at one time. You will also relish the opportunity be able to work autonomously and demonstrate excellent time management, organisational skills, analytical and problem-solving methodologies.
We are searching for a talented professional with either a Certificate IV in Customer Contact, Business Management or relevant industry experience. You will ideally have a proven track record in demonstrating your knowledge of the electricity industry, regulatory environment, and the energy market.
You are highly motivated with strong commercial acumen in contracts and the ability to understand financial effects and relationships across various aspects across of business. You are adept at the National Electricity Market and Energy Queensland’s regulatory and legislative obligations to build and maintain productive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
