Opportunity
As our Senior Payroll Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate processing and maintenance of our payroll operations. Your responsibilities will include fortnightly and monthly reconciliations, managing Payroll Tax and Work Cover, and reporting.
Ideal Candidate:
We seek an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic, quick business acumen, at least 4 years of payroll experience in medium to large businesses, and strong communication skills. Experience with Dayforce payroll system is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications, Experience, and Background:
- Minimum 4 years of payroll experience
- Experience with Dayforce system preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- End-to-end understanding of payroll operations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in payroll software systems
- Recent experience with terminations, redundancy calculations, superannuation, payroll tax, work cover, and PAYG
- Ability to manage payroll queries, delegate tasks, investigate anomalies, and prioritize workload
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Interpretation of awards and agreements
- Adaptable to ad hoc duties as required.
