Accounts Receivable Officer - Contract

Immediate start required for an experienced AP officer. Has the potential for permanency for the right employee.

The Role

• 6 month temporary contract with the possibility of permanency overtime
• Assist the manager in driving the complete AP processing function ensuring billing is delivered accurately and on time
• Ensure that direct debits are processed accurately and on time
• Assist the team leader in overseeing the aged debtor ledger, including receipting, reconciliations, and monitoring of overdue accounts
• Provide support for the internal audit and external audit functions as required
• Support the Finance team to achieve agreed reporting deadlines by ensuring the timely completion of all processes and reconciliations
• Monitor and distribute work to team members from the inbox

• Demonstrated Accounts Receivable experience in a large multi-site organisation
• Demonstrated experience in accounts management functions and ability to manage large volumes of financial data for a growing organisation working with multiple ledgers.
• Demonstrated experience with a computerised financial accounting system including fast accurate keyboard skills and preferably advanced spread sheeting skills
• Excellent understanding of Australian GST requirements
