Permanent full time opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement and Contracts Officers to join our team! In this client-focused and transparent role, you'll play a vital role in planning, developing, negotiating and conducting procurement activities for Building Infrastructure and Maintenance Services (BIMS) across the entire organisation.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Negotiate and establish robust contractual arrangements that meet probity requirements and effectively manage commercial and legal risks. These contracts should deliver value for money, support business strategies, and enable efficient supplier management.
- Plan procurement activities to ensure efficient delivery of outcomes, actively seeking and implementing cost-reduction opportunities.
- Coordinate tender processes, including preparing, issuing, maintaining, and evaluating tender documentation while building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with customers and suppliers throughout.
