Randstad Ballarat is hiring 4 skilled call center/data entry professionals for a 2-3 month government contract in Ballarat, paying $45/hr + super. About the Organisation: This government entity provides emergency medical services and patient transport across Victoria, playing a crucial role in emergency response and community health. About the Role: You will manage the efficient, timely, and accurate assessment and processing of billing outcomes for service fees, meeting performance and statutory obligations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Performance:
- Review data for accuracy and consistency in billing assessments.
- Identify and report data inconsistencies for management review.
- Respond to internal and external customer billing queries.
- Assess service records and Patient Care Records for billing accuracy.
- Analyse customer circumstances to ensure billing accuracy.
- Raise and clarify billing queries.
- Support system upgrades through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform general administrative tasks to assist the team.
Quality and Customer Experience:
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
- Stay knowledgeable about billing systems, processes, and guidelines.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data security and privacy legislation.
- Adhere to billing procedures and policies.
- Recommend improvements to enhance billing processes.
Community/Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster effective working relationships within and outside the division.
- Provide high-quality Customer Service and support to stakeholders.
Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:
Promote health and wellbeing practices.

Key selection criteria QUALIFICATION
Experience working in financial data entry, billing or accounts receivable department and competent at intermediate level in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
Strong experience working in a high volume call center environment (desirable).
Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable)
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Proven proficient data entry and billing assessment skills with an ability to meet performance output and accuracy targets
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control
Professional and mature with sound judgement to ensure matters of a confidential or sensitive nature are handled appropriately and diplomatically
Diligent with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
The preferred candidate will be required to undergo security checks such as police record.
