The role
We are recruiting for a proactive Billing Team Leader to join the Finance team based in Silverwater, Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the billing processes, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing to clients. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for an individual seeking a fast-paced, challenging position managing a team of billing officers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a team of billing officers.
- Planning and supporting billing operations functions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers.
- Continuous improvement of the billing processes.
- Ensure team members understand billing deliverables and ensure these deliverables are met on time and in full.
- Developing and tracking appropriate KPIs for the Billing Team
- Management of reconciliations to ensure invoice accuracy.
- Coordination with other departments to ensure the accuracy of information.
- Supporting invoicing initiatives.
- Ability to prioritise workload, direct workflow and delegate where appropriate.
- Assisting with month-end finance closure.
- Handle Other Ad-hoc accounting/invoicing tasks.

- Good communication skills and proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- High level of interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, setting an example for others.
