Billings Customer Support Officers Needed, Ballarat, 3-Month Contract - Possible Extension, Government Client

Hays Recruitment Ballarat have partnered with a well-known Victorian government agency that is looking for multiple Billings Customer Services Officers to begin immediately. The contract role is for an initial 3 months, but there is an opportunity for extension for high performers.

Your new role
As an experienced Billings Officer, you will be responsible for the following day to day duties:- Provide Customer Service response to internal and external customer queries regarding billing as appropriate and aligned with position accountabilities.
- Assess available reporting data, service records/documents and Patient Care Record (PCR) for accuracy of billing outcomes
- Analyse and assess customer specific circumstances relative to billing considerations, including identification of potential valid entitlements, evaluation of pre-existing medical conditions and identification of PCR case details to determine accuracy of billing outcomes
- Raise billing queries appropriately to seek direction of anomalies or clarification of unclear billing outcomes
- Undertake system User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to support successful implementation of system upgrades
- Undertake general administrative duties and other tasks to assist the broader team to meet KPI and/or manage PCR task backlogs or organisational ad hoc requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in financial data entry, billing or accounts receivable department and competent at
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
- Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable)
- Proven proficient data entry and billing assessment skills with an ability to meet performance output and accuracy targets
- Provide x 2 High Level References
- Undertake a Police Check (Within last 3 months)
- Proof of COVID vaccination - 3 Minimum Doses
