Job Summary
Join our team at Gardner Vaughan Group, an award-winning builder-developer with 35 years of experience. We are currently seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our design team at our headquarters in Nundah, as we continue to grow.
As the BIM Manager, you will be responsible for managing the highest standards, protocols, implementation, training and innovation. Requiring people skills and a collaborative approach as you help shape our projects on various job sites for clients across multi-residential and mixed-use projects from $10m - $80m . You will work closely with the Head of Design and Planning and Design & Planning Manager to ensure that our projects are delivered to the highest standards:-
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Management platform design co-ordination and Navisworks implementation, including documentation of processes around the incorporation of these into our processes
- Develop Revit standards and processes around them to be incorporated into our QMS
- Documentation standards
- Training of new and existing staff in revit standards
- Monitoring of conformance with revit standards
- Liaising with design leads and consultants to rectify issues
Skills and Experience
- 10 years + experience and proficiency in multi-residential and mixed use design, construction detailing and support for commercial builder or design firm
- 10 years + experience in Revit
- Knowledge of Navisworks
- Ability to assist in directing a team of Design Technicians
- Leadership & collaboration skills
- Strong knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture/Design or open-license building designer license is a must
