Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design and Construction Manager to support the delivery of over $ 1 billion in project pipeline over the next 3 to 4 years.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Design and Construction process, ensuring our standards of excellence are upheld every step of the way. You will report directly to the CEO and work on a day-to-day basis with the development team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Design and Construction of high-end luxury apartment projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, design standards and budgets.
- Day to day Project Management.
- Work with the project team to ensure project outcomes are maximised.
- Manage Design and Construction budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress and quality, implementing proactive measures to address any issues or delays that may arise, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and building codes.
- Drive value through the acquisition process, ensuring that constructability insights and design smarts are factored into early concepts and project feasibilities.
- Foster a culture of a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation within the team.
You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering large-scale complex projects in Brisbane.
You will be able to demonstrate your exceptional project management skills with your ability to effectively prioritise tasks, manage resources and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will possess strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts or issues as they arise effectively.
