ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will be an experienced Blast Crew Member with 2 plus years’ experience in this or a similar role with a background in Drill and Blast operations within the Coal Sector. You will be required to have your SSAN Police Clearance and Support Shot Firing Ticket. You will have an absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential in this role.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Current SSAN and Assistant Shot firing Ticket
- Great attitude towards safety and team culture
- Hold or be willing to attain a Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Current Drivers Licence & Right to Work in Australia
