About the Role

RTI is creating a new role to support the growth of our innovative Mining Technology solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person to coordinate and support our market presence, develop a knowledge of the global critical materials sector and deliver sustainable revenue growth as our business evolves. We ask our team members to combine their understanding of value-based sales processes with the curiosity to understand our industry partners and how the market can use our sensors to create safer, smarter and more sustainable outcomes.

Deliverables:

· Help coordinate and support the development and execution of strategic plans to drive sales growth across the business.

· Help identify, qualify, and support the conversion of new business opportunities, leveraging your understanding of the critical materials sector, sales process and sales tools.

· Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, key decision-makers in the industry, executives, and help RTI become their trusted advisor.

· Collaborate with all business units to align our solutions with customer needs and industry trends.

· Provide exceptional customer experience and ensure we add value with every engagement or touchpoint.

· Facilitate solution presentations to inform customers about the value of RTI’s technology solution and develop proposals, tender documents and other commercial artefacts or collateral to help grow RTI.

· Stay current with industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders and partners.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve targets and exceed commercial objectives.

· Participate in trade and industry events as required.

· Manage and maintain sales databases, ensuring high levels of data accuracy, fidelity and integrity.

· Generate and analyse sales reports, providing insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance.

· Support the implementation and optimisation of sales technologies, including CRM systems and other sales tools.

· Assist in the development and revision of sales policies and procedures.

· Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure proper lead management and distribution.

· Facilitate communication and workflow between sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and maximise efficiency.

· Assist in planning and organizing sales training programs and workshops.

· Monitor and evaluate sales targets and objectives for performance analysis.

· Handle administrative tasks related to sales operations, including contract management and compliance checks.

· Identify improvements in the sales process and work with the team to find effective solutions.

· Have a willingness to learn and develop into a more senior commercial role.

Requirements:

· An understanding and exposure to sales support, customer success, customer engagement, account management or general sales.

· A positive and curious mindset to develop your passion for technology – we don’t need experts but a passion and desire to learn and develop your talent is important.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, the ability to use various technology platforms (Microsoft, HubSpot etc), and work with people across the mining value chain.

· Exposure to mining and related industries will be well-regarded but not essential.

· A strong curiosity and ability to identify customer challenges and the desire to solve problems.

· Respect, resilience, and a positive attitude.

· A competitive nature to see the critical materials industry use technology to transform.

· Tertiary education is a plus but not essential (attitude and cultural fit are most important).

· Ability to travel occasional with the region and globally as needed.

· The desire to learn, develop and mature into a more senior role.

· A current vehicle operator’s licence.

· The ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol screen).
