To provide administrative support to the Deputy Company Secretary, Suncorp Bank in providing governance services to the Suncorp Bank Group.
Completion of ANZ's acquisition of Suncorp Bank remains subject to legislative amendments by the Queensland Parliament and approval by the Federal Treasurer. Assuming these conditions are satisfied, completion of the acquisition is expected to occur in or around mid-calendar year 2024.
What will your day look like
Providing corporate governance services with a focus on ASX Listing Rule and Corporations Act requirements, including in relation to the following areas:
- Formatting, collating and uploading Board and Committee papers for Suncorp Bank directors (including subsidiary directors);
- Carrying out ASIC/APRA/ASX lodgments for Suncorp Bank Group;
- Work with Board Administration Officer, ANZ on Suncorp Bank Director travel/expenses and other arrangements affecting Suncorp Bank Board directors.
- Assist with ASIC/ASX lodgments for group entities, including Non-Bank entities; and
- Administrative services for Suncorp Bank group, including invoicing, Board and Committee meeting scheduling and arranging for documents to be notarised/apostilled (if required).
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have skills, knowledge and experience in the following:
- Experience with administrative filings required under the ASX listing rules and Corporations Act.
- Extensive experience dealing with senior executives/directors
- Proven ability to foster and develop relationships within ANZ, Suncorp Bank and externally.
- Strong attention to detail and be able to manage competing priorities
