The Role in a Nutshell
Based on-site at Kanmantoo Copper Mine, working a 7/7 rotating roster alongside a dedicated team of experienced professionals, all striving towards the same goal! Bring your experience and knowledge to a place where it is valued.
As we ramp up the mine we are looking for individuals to bring their skills and experience to a developing site as we grow this scale-up business. Your experience will be highly valued on our small mine site.
But what are the Fundamentals
Let’s face it – you’re already an experienced Underground Loader Operator! You know your way around the machine, and what’s involved. You know how to develop tunnels and know what we mean when we say “open stope mining”. In fact, you know your way around a CAT 2900 and how to undertake underground roadworks, raking and maintenance! A smooth operator knows all these things and will hit the ground running.
We are a small start-up site with big goals so you will be a team player that will jump between priorities with enthusiasm and get hands on. There's never a dull moment and so much room for growth (both yours and ours) because let's be honest, there's a lot to achieve here!
So what’s REALLY required?
- Demonstrated experience as Development Loader Operator - bonus points for Cat 2900!
- Have worked in open stoping previously.
- Experience working with cemented rock fill placement.
- Current Australian drivers license (minimum C Class).
- Able & willing to pass a full medical.
- With a positive can-do attitude you’ll be a team player who likes to shape a safe, productive, sustainable and disciplined culture.
- An enthusiastic and diligent outlook will see you excel within our small but dedicated crews.
