The Role in a Nutshell
As a seasoned underground Tele-Remote Operator you will already have a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of this role. As we move further into production we are looking for skilled RCT operators to bring their expertise to our evolving mine site as we grow and continue to scale-up after commencing operations in early 2023.
Based on-site at Kanmantoo Copper Mine, working a 7/7 rotating roster alongside a dedicated team of experienced professionals, all striving towards the same goal! Bring your experience and knowledge to a place where it is valued!
But What Are The Fundamentals
You’ll ensure truck loads are maximised and underground housekeeping is kept at a premium. With experience correctly identifying and managing ore and waste, you’ll work with the whole team to ensure targets are safely met. Put your skills in place and be part of our production from the start.
To really stand out you will have relevant demonstrated prior experience in operating underground loaders remotely – bonus points if that experience is with CAT 2900. You’ll have exposure in open stoping operation and cemented rock fill placement. With RCT Digital you will enhance automation and remote operation capabilities, and be able to troubleshoot and resolve common issues. Your ability to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives will optimise loader operations in this open stoping environment.
So What’s Really Required?
An enthusiastic and diligent outlook will see you excel within our small but dedicated crews. Operating the loader from a distance requires high attention to detail and impeccable communication skills. Along with a solid track record of safety compliance and execution.
- Demonstrated prior experience in operating tele-remote loaders – bonus points if that experience is with CAT 2900.
- Proven RCT experience.
- Exposure in open stoping operation.
- Experience working with cemented rock fill placement.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve common issues.
- Current Australian License (minimum C Class).
- Willing & able to pass a full medical.
- Positive can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety.
