About the role

We are currently seeking a motivated Boiler Maker to join our Defence branch to support our continued growth.

Mechanical Fitting and Hydraulic Experience would be advantageous for this role.

You will find yourself manufacturing, repairing, inspecting, commissioning and troubleshooting a wide variety of components and systems, using safe and efficient processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Carry out Installation of Welded Components.
• Mark out, Measure and Tack items ready for welding.
• Read and Interpret Isometric Drawings
• Read and Interpret P&ID Drawings
• Perform servicing, fault finding and repairs on an extensive range of components and systems
• Manufacture, install and commission equipment in accordance with required specifications
• Carry out flushing, testing and inspections of hydraulic systems and components.
• Execute scopes across our workshop and client local, remote onshore and offshore sites
• Produce detailed and accurate reporting on all tasks carried out in the workshop and on site

Qualifications, and experience:

• Recognised trade qualification – Boiler Maker or similar
• Understanding of systems and the ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and 3D models.
• Experience with Hydraulic installations, commissioning and troubleshooting
• Possess a valid driver’s licence
