We currently seeking a skilled & experienced Boilermaker to join our team who is a motivated & professionally minded individual. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the repair, fabrication, & maintenance of our heavy-duty mining equipment. This role requires a good knowledge of repairs and metal fabrication , excellent teamwork skills, & the versatility to perform additional responsibilities as assigned. The successful candidate must adhere to a safe work ethic, & demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, & other metalworking processes to repair & fabricate tank components.
- Conduct routine inspections & assessments of tanks & equipment for damage or deterioration & implement necessary repairs.
- Work as a part of a team to ensure the completion of projects within scheduled timeframes & meet quality standards.
- Maintain a high level of safety by following all company policies, procedures, & guidelines.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic & compliance with safe work practices to minimize risks & ensure the safety of self & others.
- Take ownership of responsibilities & work independently when required, while maintaining effective communication within the team.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker or similar role in the industrial/mining/civil industry
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers & superiors.
- Willingness to work in different environments or locations.
- Ability to multitask & be flexible, & open to performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment & complying with all safety regulations & policies.
- Strong work ethic, reliable & punctual.
- Ability to work well both independently & within a team, demonstrating adaptability & cooperation.
- Familiarity with breakdown repair procedures.
- Professional certifications or licenses in welding, fabrication, or other relevant trades are preferred.
- Forklift license is preferred.
