Great opportunity for an experienced Mobile Plant Boilermakers to join a leading mining company!
TEN Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a prominent player in the mining industry to find the perfect fit for the position of Mobile Plant Boilermaker. This exciting opportunity entails a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) roster of 2:1 or 2:2, departing from Perth.As part of this role, you'll have the privilege to work across a multitude of sites, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities. From heavy machinery to specialized equipment, you'll be at the forefront of repairing and fabricating crucial metal components right where they're needed most - on-site.

Your responsibilities may include:
- Retrieving metals that are essential to successfully repair or fabricate the component.
- Welding, cutting, gouging and any other labouring duties advised by your supervisor.
- Conduct weekly reporting duties regarding blade and bucket conditions.
- Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Advise your supervisor of any components or tooling deemed unsafe.
- Adhere to all OHS policies and established workplace procedures.
- Understand and work in accordance with established work plans and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with a diverse range of CAT & Hitachi earthmoving equipment.
- Proven track record in executing repairs, conducting gas cutting, and proficient welding maintenance.
- Possession of an Australian recognized Trade Certificate.
- Capability to operate both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities coupled with strong communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Previous experience in a comparable role within the mining sector would be highly advantageous.
- Possession of relevant nationally recognized Trade Certificate and welding certifications.
- Outstanding communication aptitude.
- Valid 'C' Class driver's license.
- Have a “safety-first” mindset.
