About your role
We have an opportunity for Boiler Operators and Trainee Boiler Operators to join our Boilerhouse Operations team. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Boilerhouse Operations, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
- Performing day to day operational duties associated with boilers, turbines and auxiliary plant
- Monitoring, isolating, commissioning and performing preventative maintenance and conducting operational activities
- General housekeeping duties
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Strong work ethic with a desire to grow and apply your personal skills and knowledge
- Possessing an Advanced or Standard Boiler High Risk Work Licence is advantageous; however, training will be provided if you do not already have one
- Basic mechanical and/or process understanding
- Ability to apply effective problem solving and fault-finding techniques
- Forklift and Elevated Work Platform tickets will be well regarded
