Convair Engineering, a subsidiary of Engenco Limited specialises in design, manufacture and supply of pneumatic dry bulk tankers, blowers and compressors for the transport & storage of dry bulk products.
Your New Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a qualified Boilermaker to join the Convair facility on a full-time basis in Epping, Melbourne. As a Boilermaker, you will be required to provide fabrication of road tanker pressure vessels and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and sketches.
- Apply principles and techniques of marking out.
- Identify materials, and defects in materials.
- Perform thermal applications including bending, forming, shaping steel.
- Assemble & track prepared steel to drawing requirements.
- Safely operate a range of power and hand tools, including angle grinder, pistol drill, guillotine, cut-off saw.
