Our client, a leading manufacturer of municipal vehicles based in Scoresby, is seeking fabricators / welders to join their team. As pioneers in this space, they have over 80 years' experience manufacturing cleaning vehicles along with a great company culture. You will have the skills & ability to complete the full process of fabricating heavy vehicles. OH&S knowledge is a must as well as strong mig weld capabilities. The company prides itself on looking after their workers & creating a quality work environment.
The position requirements include but are not limited to:
- Proven experience as a welder on heavy vehicles
- Strong MIG welding skills are essential, welding tickets would be a bonus but not essential
- Experience tradesman or 2nd class welders encouraged to apply
- Team player with the ability to build relationships with all levels of personnel
- Can-do attitude and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Reading & interpreting drawings
- Ability to pass a weld test.
- Following all required safety and administrative procedures
6.30am - 3:00pm Monday to Thursday & 6.30am- 12:30am Friday
On Offer:
$36 to $38 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) + super + overtime
