Boilermaker Division: Boral Cement Limited Department: BORAL CEMENT Work type: Permanent - full time Location: Southern Highlands & Snowy Your next opportunity: Boral Cement is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our dedicated onsite maintenance team.
Reporting Maintenance Manager you will support maintenance activities to help achieve the highest standards of mobile and fixed plant availability and reliability by carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities. Your day will involve: Have a strong understanding and commitment to OH&S, including the ability to identify, assess and control hazards in the workplace. Perform Preventative Maintenance, Repairs and modifications to production equipment.
Apply high quality Welding Maintenance standards. Identify and respond to problems, breakdowns and changes in routine. Be a self-starter who can work without direct supervision.
Use computer systems to work within the maintenance management system. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the plant performance standards by participating in maintenance system development, planning and reviews. Continue to undertake training and skills development.
Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have the ability to operate in an effective team. Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
Flexibility to attend Callouts and change of shift if required to suit business needs. What are we looking for? Boiler Maker/Welding Trade Certificate.
Experience welding on heavy fixed plant equipment advantageous. Experience in maintenance management principles and techniques. HRW Licenses e.g. Welding, Dogging, Forklift, EWP and Confined Space will be advantageous or the ability to obtain.
Welding post trade qualifications are desirable. Current NSW drivers' licence. What’s on offer?
