We are currently recruiting for a boilermaker to join our team at the Bauxite Hills project, Skardon River, North Queensland
This is a FIFO position on a 2:2 roster for someone that ideally lives in Queensland.
About the Role:
The Boilermakers role is to fabricate, maintain and repair steel and other metal structures to support the safe and efficient operation of TSA's fleet of assets. The responsibilities of the Boilermaker include but are not limited to –
- Project planning
- Repair planning
- Steel repairs to barges and vessels
- Aluminium repairs to vessels
- Steel fabrication
- Aluminium fabrication
- Ordering of steel and other metals
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III in Engineering - fabrication trade
- Confined Space Entry
- Working at Heights
- Recreational Skippers Ticket
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
