Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Boilermaker/Welders with experience in the mining industry to support our ongoing maintenance contract. The successful candidates will join the team that supports BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam operations.
This is a permanent position on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster. Flights from Adelaide to Roxby Downs (return) are included. We also include accommodation.
Requirements
- AUS/NZ recognised Boilermaker (equivalent) Trade qualification. (Required)
- Demonstrated post-trade experience in a similar role. (Required)
- Mine site experience. (Highly desirable)
- Current manual HR licence. (Required)
- High Risk Work Licence. (Highly regarded)
- Bucket re-build experience.
- Attachment crack repair experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to pass a weld test to Ventia supplied WPS.
- Hold a current/cleared Police Check (or be willing to complete a Police Check as part of the onboarding process).
