We are looking for a Boilermaker to join the Mobile Maintenance Team at our Tom Price Operation. This is a permanent, residential position based in Tom Price, working 8 days on, 6 days off and 7 nights on, 7 days off 12-hour day shift roster.
You will be responsible for carrying out inspections and making improvements to our fleet of heavy mobile equipment to ensure maximum up-time. Our fleet consists of Komatsu haul trucks, CAT Dozers, Graders and Loaders along with a fleet of ancillary and pumping equipment. Collaborate with the team of HME inspectors, Condition Monitoring Technicians and Maintenance Engineers to make the most of the equipment and your time.
We offer subsidised housing where you and your family will be able to explore the incredible Pilbara region and have access to excellent sporting and recreational facilities as well as a shopping center, medical and education facilities.
This role is open to applicants who have a desire to permanently relocate to Tom Price. A site visit may not be possible if you reside outside of Western Australia.
What you will need for this role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- The desire to relocate and live in Tom Price, if you don’t already
- A certificate 3 trade qualification in fabrication or equivalent boiler-making trade
- Previous experience in maintaining and fault diagnosing open cut mining equipment
Experience working on Komatsu 830E trucks, Letourneau 1850 loaders, Hitachi 2500 & 3600 excavators and CAT graders, dozers and water carts
- A current manual Western Australian C class driver’s
license
- A strong commitment to safety
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Proficient in the use of SAP
- Western Australian Heavy Rigid driver’s
license
Post trade experience
High Risk Work Licenses in LF, WP, CV, DG, C6

Where you will be working
Tom Price is in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our orginal Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, 2 primary schools, a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.
