Job description:
The Mobile Maintenance team at Granny Smith have an opportunity for an experienced Technician: Mechanical (Boilermaker) to join their team.
Role Details
Reporting to the Leading Hand Mechanical (Mobile), you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the mining department and other areas of the operation as required.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Ensuring the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by practising preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of mining equipment.
Supporting the efficient operation of the production facilities by providing reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge, expertise and practical application to minimise down time.
Maintaining a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures and ensure that these are consistently adhered to when carrying out maintenance tasks
Completing all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders and recording of labour time
Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout the maintenance workshops and wherever maintenance work is carried out
About you:
You will have:
Ability to uphold a high standard of work, great culture skills and a high level of safety.
Completed Australian trade recognised qualifications in Fabrication/Boiler making.
Experience and understanding relevant standards such as AS1554
Competence with MIG, TIG, arc air gouging and lancing.
Experience with hard rock underground mining equipment, proficient in truck tray and loader bucket repairs
Conducting repairs on Light Vehicle, including panel beating and spray painting
Previous experience working underground
Coded Welder Qualification Advantageous
Valid WA C Class driver license.
HRWL, Crane, Dogging, Forklift tickets
