Boilermaker / Welder

We're looking for a dedicated Boilermaker/Welder to join the team and play a vital role in the fabrication of critical components for our industrial machinery, built in collaboration with a leading manufacturer. In this role, you'll be a key player, ensuring the flawless creation and assembly of metal parts through your exceptional welding expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand blueprints to figure out what needs to be built and how to weld it.
• Use metalworking tools (presses, brakes, drills, saws) to cut, bend, and put together metal parts exactly as planned.
• Weld everything perfectly using MIG welding to create strong, long-lasting seams.
• Double-check all the parts before welding to make sure everything fits together right.
• Keep your workspace clean and safe by following all the safety rules.
• Work with your teammates to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
• Fix any problems that come up during welding so you stay on schedule.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest welding techniques and keep the welding equipment in good shape.

Qualifications:

• A valid Welding or Fabrication Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder/Boilermaker in a similar industrial setting.
• Solid understanding of various welding techniques beyond MIG welding (e.g., TIG, Stick).
• Extensive experience working with large and complex machinery components.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to quality control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and rectify welding issues.
• A commitment to safety and a spotless safety record.
