Altrad are offering on-going work within our Kwinana and AMC Henderson Fabrication Facilities, the position of Boilermaker will see you gain considerable insight into major fabrication operations. - Location - Kwinana Beach or AMC Henderson
- Project description - Ongoing full-time work in our heavy structural fabrication workshop.
- Work hours - Monday - Friday 10hr days, occasional weekends and overtime when required
- Rates - $39 + penalties after 36hrs. Pay increase + Attendance allowance after 3 months employment.
About you
- Minimum 2 years post trade experience within a workshop environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of drawings and fabricating to tolerances
- Comfortable in confined spaces, working at heights and with physically demanding tasks
- Previous experience in the use of overhead cranes
- Dogging and rigging tickets desirable
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification - Fabrication
- Hold the following Nationally Accredited Qualifications:
- OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
- Working at Heights (within 3 years)
- Confined Space Entry (within 3 years)
- Dogging (desirable not essential)
- Rigging (desirable bot essential)
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
