Our client is a growing engineering Company based in the Bell Bay area. Has plenty of ongoing work and is looking to grow its workforce. Fantastic opportunity to become a part of a growing company.

We are looking for a motivated and qualified Boiler Maker/Welder or a labourer with welding experience to join a growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for various projects, breakdowns, and maintenance. Starting under a labour hire situation but there is the opportunity for this to become a full-time role with the client for the right candidate! All work is around the Bell Bay area in North East Tasmania

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Demonstrate practical knowledge of safety in the workplace
• Capable of physical duties
• Ability to use various tools and equipment, such as power tools and machinery
• Licence to operate forklift preferred, but not essential
• Welding of various metals preferred
• Previous experience in Mining, Energy or heavy industry sector
• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Boilermaker (or equivalent)
• Current Drivers licence essential
• Forklift, working at heights, confined space tickets would be highly desirable but not essential.
• Ability to pass a full medical which includes Drug and Alcohol test
• Regular drug testing is required.
