About the role
As a Psychologist with Brain & Mind Hub Sunshine Coast, you will play a pivotal role in delivering compassionate and effective mental health services to our diverse clientele. We are seeking clinicians who specialise in providing support across all stages of life, including children, adults, and older Australians.
You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and technology experts to develop and implement groundbreaking therapies informed by the latest advancements in brain science.
From utilising neuroimaging techniques to identify neural biomarkers, to designing customised treatment protocols, you will have the opportunity to pioneer new approaches that offer hope and healing to those in need.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Psychology or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Ongoing commitment to CPD and supervision activities as stipulated by AHPRA annual registration requirements
- Current APS membership
- Personal Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance
- Medicare registration eligibility
- Ability to work autonomously and independently; offering holistic care, in collaboration with other clinicians and stakeholders
- A current Blue Card, or the ability to gain one prior to commencement.
- A current Yellow Card, or the ability to gain one prior to commencement.
Desirable skills and experience
- Skill and experience in providing a broad range of evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT, EMDR, DBT, ACT etc
- Ability to offer educational, psychometric/ neuropsychological / ADHD and/or ASD assessments
- Experience working with eating disorders, ANZAED accreditation
- Experience working with trauma including PTSD and the completion of Trauma Informed Care training will be highly regarded
