- Fabricate components for plant renewal and improvement projects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Diagnose breakdowns, propose effective fabrication solutions, and conduct necessary repairs.
- Operate and optimise production equipment, resolving operational challenges as they arise.
- Prioritise safety by adhering to protocols and collaborating with supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate tasks with subcontractors.
- Undertake positional welding, heavy structural work, and fabrication for fixed and mobile plants.
- Apply fabrication skills and welding expertise, including GMAW & FCAW techniques.
- Successfully complete weld tests, meeting our clients' high-quality standards.
- Operate safely within a modern workshop environment.
- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve project goals.
- Trade Certificate in Fabrication.
- High-risk forklift and WP licence (highly desirable).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
- Autonomous problem-solving skills.
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to work at heights.
- Willingness to work overtime and transition to permanent employment.
- Unlimited working rights in Australia.
- Strong focus on safety and the ability to pass a weld test.
- Demonstrated experience in positional welding, heavy structural work, and fixed and mobile plant fabrication.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
