We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team on a permanent basis, working fulltime hours over 5 days, working from our Forrest, ACT Office.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the financial well-being for a diverse client list. Key responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
- Payroll: Manage payroll processing and associated records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- BAS and Taxation: Prepare and assist with BAS lodgements
- Client Communication: Liaise with clients to answer queries and provide advice as required.
- Process: Introducing systems, efficiencies, automation and processes for the benefit of improving the overall value for clients.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience as a bookkeeper within an accounting or bookkeeping firm
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero and MYOB both essential)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.
