About Endeavour Engineering:
Endeavour Engineering is a start-up remedial engineering consultancy that specializes in building diagnostic inspections, which involve assessing the condition of a building and identifying any issues that may be present.
We also provide remedial waterproofing designs to prevent water damage and protect the structural integrity of buildings. Additionally, we produce litigation reports for building defects, assisting clients in resolving disputes related to construction defects. With a strong background in engineering and construction, we are skilled at identifying and analysing the root causes of building issues and developing effective solutions to address them.
The Role
Due to growth within the business, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who can, upon request, carry out Office Administration duties (as required) for our Western Sydney Office. The role will initially be three days per week on a casual basis, with the possibility of increasing. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, show initiative, function effectively in a team, adhere to workplace protocols, and contribute to the company's growth.
Duties include:
- Accounts Receivable, including following up on invoices
- Bookkeeping activities for a small team, including the ability to use Xero
- Managing overall office administration, including handling incoming calls and email inquiries,
- Scheduling and planning, alongside preparation of various documents.
- Liaising with clients and the internal team
- Managing file organisation and ensuring documents and plans are securely stored
- Attending to ADHOC tasks when needed and performing additional administrative duties as required.

About you (Essential):
- Advanced knowledge in XERO
- Proven experience in all aspects of accounts receivable/payable and admin support
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information accurately and effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them within specified deadlines. Detail-oriented with the ability to spot document, email, or other communication errors.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and solve issues effectively. Demonstrate professional integrity in all interactions and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Shall be professional in all interactions, maintain a positive attitude, and act with integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, including Excel, Project, Word, and cloud-based file systems (OneDrive / SharePoint)
- Have access to a car complete with a valid driver's license
- High-level written and verbal communication skills in English and eligibility to work in Australia.
About you (Ideal):
- Prior experience or knowledge in the construction industry – although not essential, this would be a significant advantage.
