• Newly created role to support the MD & assist with MYOB Adv implementation

• CBD location with WFH Options available. Paying $80K - $90K + Super (depending on experience).

The Company

Our client is an Australian-owned and run engineering firm that has been around for many years. They take pride in providing professional and high-quality services and solutions for their clients across the nation. 

Our client also offers an excellent working environment with brand-new, industrial-feel offices that are close to public transport. They also offer the flexibility to work from home.

This person will be supporting multiple stakeholders by keeping the finance & administration aspects of the business in check.

The Role 

This Bookkeeper role is quite broad. You will be working closely with the MD as well as an external accountant. Your role will include but will not be limited to:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Payroll Administration 
• Assisting with the set-up of accounting modules in MYOB Advanced 
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports 
• Assisting the project team to track & manage financial transactions & budgets within MYOB Adv
• Providing documentation to support MD with the budgeting & forecasting process
• Ad-hoc administration/office management duties

Your Background

To be considered, you must have the following skills and experience:

• Experience using MYOB Advanced
• Diploma/Certificate in Accounting as a minimum
• Extensive accounting/bookkeeping experience preferably in a standalone position
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
