Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant

Our client is an established start-up digital technology company working in the Australian sporting industry. They are looking to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant to join their small team.  

Reporting to and supporting the Financial Controller, the role would be ideally undertaken on a part time 3 day per week basis. The Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant is integral to the company owning supplier statements, high volume distribution payments, payroll, AP, BAS and PAYG responsibilities.  

To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and show initiative to adapt to the changes of a fast paced and evolving business model where no 3 days are ever the same.  

Requirements: 

• Accounting/Bookkeeping – 5+ years experience  
• High volume processing experience  
• Experience using Xero and Stripe would be advantageous
