AddressOur client is a dynamic national company servicing the commercial and industrial sectors. Due to internal movement, we’re seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team. Reporting to the company Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial data, maintaining accurate books on accounts payable, receivable and financial entries, reconciliations and payroll.
The role:
- Managing the day to day accounting transactions
- Preparing the monthly accounts
- Monthly reporting
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Managing the accounts payable function
- Managing the accounts receivable function
- Processing payroll and other related payroll tasks (approx 30 staff)
What we’re looking for:
- Experience across a wide range of accounting functions
- Strong level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for workload
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team
- Ability to solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong computer software skills
Benefits:
- Permanent role 3 days part-time (negotiable)
- $35-$40 per hour + super (neg)
