Cairns Sheetmetal is involved in the construction industry manufacturing air-conditioning ductwork for large and small commercial projects. Our team consists 15 staff and we are offering an opportunity for a self-motivated, detail orientated and organised Bookkeeper/Office Admin person to join our team.
Duties
- Xero Bookkeeping
- BAS preparation and lodgement.
- Payroll processing and HR management.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable management.
- Filing
- Customer service.
Selection Criteria/ Required skills
- Experience in BAS/IAS preparation
- Payroll including STP
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and XERO/MYOB would be an advantage.
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail.
- Work as a team member by sharing responsibilities, providing support and maintaining communication with colleagues.
- Our business is progressive and a willingness to learn is essential.

Ample handover training will be provided.
Full-time on-site position of 38 hours per week – 8:00am to 4:00pm Mon – Fri
Salary of $65,000 - $70,000 per annum
